Vehicle Reservations
- Please use the SNRI Vehicle Reservation Form to request dates for select vehicles. Decisions are made on a first-come-first-served basis and we try to accommodate use by multiple research groups. You will also be asked to provide a COA# for recharge.
- SNRI currently has two 4WD vehicles available for reservation by SNRI faculty and affiliates: A 2007 Toyota Tacoma double cab (seats 4, automatic transmission, camper shell) and a 2011 Nissan Xterra (seats 5, automatic transmission)
- All drivers need to have been approved via UCM Risk Services - DMV Pull.
- CA licenses may take up to 14 days for verification while out-of-state licenses may take up to a month for verification, so please plan accordingly.
- All drivers need to have been approved via UCM Risk Services - DMV Pull.
- The cost of the rental is based on the amount of reservations within the calendar month. Per the approved recharge rate, there is an administrative fee of $243.26 that is divided up amongst all rentals in the month.
- For example, vehicle 100706 was driven a total of 1,000 miles by three different research groups in the month; you drove 500 of those miles, so your portion of the administrative fee is 50% of the monthly charge, which would equal $121.63 plus any fuel expenses for your trip. Each vehicle should have a full tank of gas when you receive the keys, so you will only be charged for the amount of fuel used for your trip.
- Vehicles must be returned with a full tank; vehicles not returned with a full tank will be charged fuel to fill the tank up.
- Due to demand for our limited number of vehicles, SNRI invites affiliates to utilize TAPS vehicle rentals in the event SNRI cannot accommodate your reservation.
- TAPS vehicle choices may be found online. When proper approval is acquired, the requestor may complete the online vehicle reservation form. Please note a sponsored project fund approval form must be completed for TAPS vehicle reservations on research funds.
Room Reservations
SNRI no longer processes room reservation requests for room SE1 200.
You may now submit reservations to all non-instructional spaces for 2019. EMS is accessible to all users with a UC Merced Net ID. Spaces available for reservation are based on your affiliation.
What do you need to do?
- Review training materials available at rooms.ucmerced.edu
- Access the Web Application
- Download the Outlook Plugin (windows users only)
- Rebook any future space reservations for 2019. Any spaces previously booked on the calendar for 2019 and forward will need to be rescheduled in EMS by the owner of that booking. Please book the spaces that you currently reserved using the same meeting name to ensure everyone has access to space already reserved.
Supply Reservations
