The goals of this workshop is to showcase the Climate Adapted Seed Tool (CAST) currently available on reforestationtools.org and new resources being developed through the CA/UCOP-funded collaborative project “Increasing publicly available tools for climate-smart seed sourcing
and forest restoration” and to give those involved in reforestation a chance to try these tools, ask questions, and provide feedback to the research team.
Attendance is free. Breakfast snacks and lunch will be provided for those who register to attend in person.
For those attending in person, a laptop will be needed if you wish to try out the tools for yourself. Please indicate on the registration form if you do not have one to bring, and we will attempt to find sufficient “loaner” laptops.
The finalized tools/resources will all be freely available on reforestationtools.org. We welcome your help in making them as useful for reforestation professionals as possible!
